Dianne Reeves Woods, 74, of Fitzgerald, died Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at Tift Regional Medical Center in Tifton, Georgia.
Memorial services will be held 2 PM, Saturday, May 9, 2026, at The Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald, Georgia, with the Rev. Robert Couey officiating. Interment will be private. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.
Mrs. Woods was born November 26, 1951, in Fitzgerald, Georgia, to the late Hulin L. Sr. & Edna Mae Marchetti Reeves. She was a 1969 graduate of Fitzgerald High School. Mrs. Woods worked as a Telephone Operator for General Telephone Company and was later employed for Dorminy Brothers as a Bookkeeper. She will be missed by her beloved fur babies: Rascal and Jack. Mrs. Woods was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her brothers: Junior Reeves (Brenda) and Eddy Reeves (Miriam) all of Fitzgerald; niece, Melinda Immelman (Max) of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina; nephews: Dan Reeves of Fitzgerald, Ross Reeves (Anna Joy) of Ocilla, and Britton Robitzsch of Brooklyn, New York; great nieces: Isabella Immelman, Olivia Immelman, Hallie Kate Reeves and Lindy Mae Reeves. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Danny G. Woods and a sister-in-law, Joy H. Reeves.
