
Susan (Pinard) Therrien
Sue Therrien 74, passed away May 5, 2026, surrounded by family and friends, and entered her eternal, heavenly reward after a brief battle with cancer and declining health. Born November 5, 1951, Sue was predeceased by her parents Ernes R Pinard and Cecilia (Lanzo) Pinard and her brother Steven E Pinard. She leaves behind her beloved husband of 47 years Chuck Therrien; her brother’s Chip Pinard and his wife Bonnie and Buzz Pinard and his wife Tik; her sister-in-law Marie Daniello and her partner Steve Frost; her other sister-in-law Holly Siff; numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews. Many friends and others loved her energy.
Sue was a 1969 graduate of Concord High School. After high school, she studied and became a licensed beautician. She earned her EMT certification while working at the NH Hospital in 1976, she also studied for BS degree in Human Services at Springfield College School of Human Services. She has had a variety of jobs in the human services field throughout her career. Most recently she worked with Visiting Angels from 2008 through 2011. She retired early due to some ongoing health issues.
Sue has been actively involved in various Christian churches and ministries in her walk with the Lord. She asked Jesus into her heart around 1970. She met Chuck at the Christian Missionary Alliance Church in Manchester, NH in 1978. She and Chuck were married on January 6, 1979. Shortly after getting married, they moved to Broken Arrow OK, in 1981 they moved to Galesburg IL in1982 they returned to Manchester. They lived in Manchester until they moved to Scottsdale AZ in 2002 where they lived until 2005 whereupon they returned to NH and have remained since. In 2007, they started attending Mercy Hill Church (formerly Manchester Vinyard) and were active in various ministries.
Sue loved to read a variety of books including the Bible (of course) Regency Romance, Sci Fi and Fantasy novels. She enjoyed a variety of movies and television, especially westerns, Sci Fi and Romcoms; her favorite actor was John Wayne. Sue also loved to sing and play board games and spending time with friends and family.
A celebration of Sue’s life will be held Saturday May 16th at Mercy Hill Church 750 Pine St Manchester NH from 3PM to 5 PM.
