
KERINS, Anne Kathleen (Cherry) of Norfolk, formerly of West Roxbury, passed away on May 5, 2026. Beloved wife of William Kerins. Devoted mother of William Joseph Kerins III and his wife Dominique of FL., Kathryn Anne Calo and her husband Joseph of Sturbridge, Anne Therese Kerins of Norfolk, and Patrick Michael Kerins of Norfolk. Loving grandmother of William Kerins IV., Dylan Kerins, Lillian Kerins, Maxwell Kerins, and Joseph Calo III. Dear sister of William Joseph Cherry Jr., Susan Virginia Rodden, Patrick Michael Cherry, Michael John Cherry, Mary Jane Mitchell, Kathleen Nora Cherry, John Francis Cherry, and the late Jane Marie Cherry, and Maureen Theresa Cherry. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Anne was one of ten children born to the late Bill and Nancy Cherry. She was raised in West Roxbury, a graduate of Copley Square High School. Anne cherished her many friends and always spoke fondly of her days at Billings Field. At just 19 years old Anne met the love of her life, Bill, with whom she shared over 45 years of marriage. Anne was a force, her energy could not be matched. She loved life and was always the life of the party especially if there was good music and dancing. Anne will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all who knew her because to know her was to love her.
Visiting hours will be held at the P.E. Murray - F.J. Higgins, George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home 2000 Centre St. West Roxbury on Friday, May 8th from 4-8pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home on Saturday, May 9th at 10:30am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery, West Roxbury.
