Sandra Faye Shearer Carroll, 66, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, went to her final home on Monday, May 4th.
Funeral services will be held 11 AM, Thursday, May 7th at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Ben Hill County, with the Rev. Greg Carroll, the Rev. Sammy Smith, and the Rev. Dr. Brent Duncan officiating. Interment will follow in the Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday, May 6th from 6 -9 at Paulk Funeral Home, Fitzgerald.
Sandra was born March 5, 1960, in Fairbanks, Alaska and was a 1978 graduate of Fitzgerald High School. She worked alongside her husband at the dental lab and was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. She loved her kids and grandchildren more than anything and all her close friends. She loved watching game shows and Law & Order. She had a great sense of humor and enjoyed decorating for Christmas.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years: Perry, and dog, Peanut; children: Rebecca Nutt (Jeremiah), Quincy Carroll (Laura), and Jesse Carroll; grandchildren: Sara Ann, Chase, Johnny, Ally, Madison, Keira, Jeff, Emma, and Brooke; a great grandchild: Remington; and a brother: Bruce Shearer (Laura). She was preceded in death by her mother, Ethel Chitwood Mills, brother, Wayne and sister, Roxanne.
