Richard "Richie" Joseph Sterczela on May 2 passed away after a short illness. He was 86 and the long time partner of Anna Williams. Richie was pre deceased in death by his sister Audrey Looby. Richie was a veteran of the US ARMY and had a 20 plus year career at the USPS. He was the loving father of Steven Williams and his wife Caylee of Lavergne TN, Jim Williams and his wife June of Marshfield and Jennifer Williams of South Boston. He was the loving PaPa of Kerrin, Brendan, Donald, Isaac and Amelia. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend visiting hours at The Casper Funeral Home, 187 Dorchester Street, South Boston, Thursday, May 7 from 9:00-10:30a.m. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial Church in St. Monica’s Church at 11:00a.m.
