GROTON LONG POINT: Gretchen Alexa Higgins of Groton Long Point died peacefully on April 12, 2026 at her home. She is survived by her two sons, Christopher and Peter Higgins.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 30, at the Dinoto Funeral Home,17 Pearl Street, Mystic. Burial will follow in the family plot in East Neck Cemetery, 143 Niles Hill Road, Waterford, followed by a celebration of her life and reception at the Groton Long Point Casino, 44 Beach Road, Groton Long Point in the community that she had made her home.
