Dean M. Mattucci, 71, of Londonderry, NH, passed away Friday, April 17, 2026, surrounded by his loving family in his home. He was born on September 29, 1954 in Buffalo, NY, a son of Dino Mattucci and Alba (Candela) Barbera, and had been a resident of Londonderry for over 40 years, formerly living in Buffalo, NY.
Dean was a retired mechanical and optical designer, and in his free time was an avid fisherman and motorcycle rider, camper, and hiker who loved the outdoors. He was a problem solver who could figure out, design, fix and build just about anything. As a father, he loved nothing more than creating special memories for his family through camping trips and hiking trips, often finding little ways to spark creativity with the simplest things.
He is survived by his loving wife, Denise (O’Connell) Mattucci to whom he was married almost 45 years; son, Christopher Mattucci; two daughters, Gina (Mattucci) Patel and her husband Adarsh Patel, and Lauren (Mattucci) Crewe and her husband Owen Crewe; three sisters, Lauren Buziak, Linda Engstler, and Donna Mattucci, as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family.
Following cremation, memorial calling hours will be held on Saturday May 2, 2026 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry, NH.
