FOLEY, Phyllis Reta, age 84 of Waltham, formerly of Stoughton and Somerville, April 16, 2026. Daughter of the late Daniel W. "Bill" Foley II and Mary Bannon Foley of Somerville. Loving mother of Tina Scioletti and her husband Chris Teitleman of Newton, and the late Robert N. Scioletti Jr. and his surviving wife Cheryl (Matuszek) of Albion, MI. Grandmother of Kendell, Carson, Curtis, Maxwell, Sara and Joseph, and great grandmother of Demetri. Beloved sister of M. Francine Foley-Sahlas and Isabel Shea of Medford; Nancy Lynch (Walter) of Somerville, and the late Daniel W. Foley III (Patty) and Richard G. Foley(Patti). Dear friend of Debbie Ashjian, the late Bob Scioletti Sr., Ernest Long and Alice Petrescu. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Phyllis was born in Boston, the third of six children. She graduated from Saint Ann Catholic School and Somerville High School, then married and moved to Stoughton. After years dedicated to her children, Phyllis pursued higher education studies in Business. She re-entered the workforce as an office temporary worker, later retiring from Analog Devices, Inc., a valued member of several divisions. Her curiosity, dedication, humor, reliability and strong work ethic earned her much praise throughout her career. She made lasting friendships wherever she worked, but the sense of camaraderie and mutual respect at Analog meant so much to Phyllis.
Most important to Phyllis was time with family: her adored parents, children and grandchildren. But her heart was forever with her siblings, notably enjoying an incredible sister bond.
Phyllis was a longterm resident of Waltham, grateful for the kindness of incredible neighbors, exercise friends at the YMCA and the thoughtful librarians at the Public Library. At the end of her life she was cared for at the Elizabeth Seton Residence in Wellesley. Her family is so thankful to the amazing staff at ESR as well as Care Dimensions Hospice Services. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Phyllis' name to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation https://give.bcrf.org, Rosie's Place https://www.rosiesplace.org/, Boston Children's Hospital https://giving.childrenshospital.org/ or the charity of your choice.
A graveside service to be held at Oak Grove Cemetery, 230 Playstead Road Medford, with details to follow at a later date.
