Lois M. (Tarr) Parker, a resident of Methuen and beloved wife of the late Robert Parker, passed away at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers on Tuesday, April 14, 2026. She was 93 years old.
Born in Gloucester, Massachusetts, on June 28, 1932, she was the beloved daughter of the late Osmond and Lois (Vance) Tarr. Lois had been employed as an Assembler for Hewlett Packard for many years. In her spare time, Lois enjoyed knitting, doing word puzzles, but mostly enjoyed spending time with her family. She will be dearly missed.
Lois is survived by her loving children; Susan and her husband Steven Maxwell of E. Kingston, New Hampshire, Robert Parker, Jr. of Pembroke, New Hampshire, Jeffrey and his wife Michele Parker of Haverhill, Massachusetts and Barbara Parker of Raymond, New Hampshire, siblings; Richard Tarr of Florida and Marion Michaud of Maine, six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Her funeral service will be celebrated in the Burke-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 390 North Main Street, Andover on Monday, April 20, 2026 at 11:30 AM. Relatives and friends are most welcome to attend. Calling hours will be held in the funeral home, prior to the service, from 10 to 11:30 AM. Interment will be in the Spring Grove Cemetery in Andover.
