Obituary

AUBURN ___Kazimierz Knutelski, 75, of Auburn, passed away on Friday, April 10, 2026, at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester.

Kazimierz leaves behind his devoted wife of 55 years, Stanislawa "Baba" Knutelska; his children, Beata Boksa and her husband Adam of Poland; Dorota Baczek and her husband Bogdan of Paxton, MA; Lukasz Knutelski and his companion Patricia Arp of Millbury, MA; and his daughter, Monika Mrzyglod, and her husband Marek of Auburn, MA, with whom he shared a uniquely close bond.

He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, his brother Wladyslaw Knutelski, his sister Justyna Banas, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, two brothers, and two sisters: Jan, Emil, Halinka, and Elzbieta Fido.

Born in Dabrowa Tarnowska, Poland, Kazimierz grew up in Poland and came to Worcester in 1996. He worked for several years as a machine operator at Heat Treat Co. before retiring. Earlier in life, he spent many years working on farmland in Poland, proudly following in his father’s footsteps and sharing his father’s love for horses.

Kazimierz was a longtime member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Church in Worcester. His greatest joy in life was being "Dziadzia" to his grandchildren. He was their biggest supporter, proudly attending their sports events, cheering them on from the sidelines, and celebrating every accomplishment, big or small. Spending time with them always brought a big smile to his face - their visits, their laughter, and simply watching them grow filled his days with happiness and purpose.

He also loved spending time outdoors. Kazimierz took great pride in his yard and gardens, often spending long hours tending to his flowers and vegetables. He enjoyed every part of it - planting, watering, watching things grow, and keeping his yard looking beautiful. His garden was his peaceful place, where he found comfort, purpose, and joy. It was a space that reflected his patience, his hard work, and the simple things in life that made him happiest.
