Frederick Martin Walsh, 78, of Londonderry, NH, passed away peacefully April 7, 2026. He is survived by his loving wife Christine, sister Margaret Breen & her husband John, sister-in-law Susan Donovan & her husband Joseph, sister-in-law Charlene Knowlton & her husband Scott, brother-in-law Edward Vidito, and several nieces and nephews. He was the son of Margaret & Coleman Walsh.
Fred enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and served during the Vietnam War. He was a B-52 Crew Chief aircraft mechanic achieving rank of sergeant. He worked for Digital Equipment Corporation as an engineering technician for many years.
Originally from Dorchester & Southie, Fred and Chris loved living in New Hampshire. They had many great friends and neighbors who were always there to lend a helping hand. Fred loved canoeing in NH’s lakes with Chris. He enjoyed fishing with his good friend Buzz.
Freddy was “wicked smahhht”, witty, funny, and had that great Irish charm. He will be missed forever by Chris.
There are no calling hours. Following cremation, Freddy will be interred at the NH State Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen with Military Honors. Services will be held privately by the family. Donations can be made to Michael J. Fox Parkinson’s Research Foundation at https://www.michaeljfox.org
