Marie B. Eddie, of Burrillville, passed away peacefully on March 23, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was the devoted wife of Don Eddie, with whom she shared a life filled with love, dedication, and cherished memories.
Born on November 9, 1947, Marie was the beloved daughter of the late Delphis Arsenault and Beatrice Arsenault. She was a caring and devoted mother to her daughters Brenda Oakland, Paula Forbes and her husband William, Dawn Newberry and her husband Mark, and a loving stepmother to Stevie Eddie.
Marie found her greatest joy in her role as a grandmother and great-grandmother. She is survived by her five grandchildren—Kristin, James, Alex, Will, and Larissa—and eight beautiful great-grandchildren: Tayla, Gavin, Bradley, Kyleigh, Gannin, Carson, Ellianna, and Jack. Her love for her family was boundless, and she treasured every moment spent with them.
Marie was a woman of many talents and passions. She had a remarkable artistic eye, a gift for decorating, and a deep appreciation for fashion. She also found great joy in gardening, nurturing beauty in all forms. Her creativity and warmth touched all who knew her.
A beloved member of her church community, Marie was actively involved with Blackstone Valley Baptist Church, where she found fellowship and faith.
Relatives and friends are warmly invited to attend a Mass in celebration of Marie’s life, to be held on April 25, 2026, at 11:30 a.m. Blackstone Valley Baptist Church, Pine Swamp Road, Cumberland, RI
