Joseph Bramante, 84, of Chelmsford, MA, passed away peacefully on March 30,2026. Born on January 17,1942, he was the son of Frank and Giovanna (Jennie Bettinelli) Bramante.
Joe is survived by his brother, Bernie Bramante and his wife Linda, as well as his sister, Lucille Cook and her husband Randy; his nephew CJ Bramante and his wife Danielle and their children Emma, Cole and Mia; niece Nikki Chung, her husband Darin and their children Nathan, Zachary and Sophia; uncle Frank Bettinelli, and aunts Maryann Russo and Josephine Schipelliti and numerous cousins.
Joe was developmentally disabled at a very young age. He lived for sixteen years in his family home in Boston’s West End. He was then homed, cared for and loved by numerous staff of Northeast Residential Services in Lexington and Chelmsford, Ma.
Family and friends are invited to attend the viewing on Wednesday April 8, 2026 from 9-10:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Athanasius Catholic Church, 300 Haverhill Street, Reading, MA. Burial will be private.
