Paul G. McCassie of West Roxbury passed away on Monday, March 30, 2026, after a prolonged illness. He was 76. He was the son of the late Paul A. McCassie and Ruth E. (Wiles) McCassie. Paul is survived by his wife, Mary Fay McCassie and daughters Ruth and Bethany and his beloved cat “Winnie”. He was predeceased by his son Paul Jonathan. He is also survived by his brother, William McCassie and his wife Catherine and their children.
Paul served in the U.S. Marines in Vietnam for which he received a Purple Heart. Later, his kindness and compassion led him to a career in inpatient mental health. Prior to retirement, Paul spent the remainder of his career as a Real Estate Broker.
Funeral Services on Monday, April 6th at Gormley Funeral Home, 2055 Centre St. West Roxbury. Gathering with family and friends at 11:00 with a service at 12:00. Interment to follow at Knollwood Memorial Park, 321 High St. Canton.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Paul may be made to the DAV, Disabled American Veterans.
