
Rosalie Mary Giglio, age 96, of Medford passed away on Sunday, March 29th, at Massachusetts General Hospital of Boston. Born and raised in Boston’s North End, she was the daughter of the late Ignazio and Caterina (Vanella) Giglio. Rosalie worked for many years as a legal secretary. Later in life she moved to Medford with her mother, and returned to the North End for her Glory Days.
Rosalie was a proud, independent and social woman who liked to travel. She loved her family and dedicated her life to caring for her parents. Rosalie was a devoted servant of The Lord Jesus Christ.
Rosalie was the dear sister of the late Maryanne Gardner and her late husband Paul, and the late Angela Carangelo and her late husband Fred. Beloved aunt of Kathy, Freddie, Anthony, Robert and Phillip Carangelo, Mark and Richard Falzone, Sandra Rinella, Terry Lavery, and Paula, Judy and Lisa Gardner. Also survived by many loving great-nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held in St. Leonard Church, Hanover St., Boston, on Tuesday, April 7th from 9 AM to 10 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment to follow at St. Michael Cemetery, Boston.
