Bruno A. Pietrolungo, age 66, of Medford passed away on Saturday, March 28th, at Massachusetts General Hospital of Boston. Born in Abruzzo, Italy, he was the son of Carolina (DiMascio) Pietrolungo and the late Domenico Pietrolungo. Bruno came to the U.S. as a child and lived in Boston’s North End before moving to Medford, where he graduated High School. Bruno worked for many years as a pizza maker.
Bruno was the dear brother of Ivo Pietrolungo and his wife Theresa, and the beloved uncle of Karla Pietrolungo, and Anthony Pietrolungo and his fiancée Eleni. He was the great-uncle of Domenic Pietrolungo, Alexa Pietrolungo and Cameron Robbins.
Visiting hours will be held in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Saturday, April 11th from 9 AM to 10:30 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated in St. Raphael Church, 512 High St., Medford, at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Services will conclude with entombment at Holy Cross Mausoleum, Malden.
