Kevin D. Kelter, 86, of Millis died peacefully on Sunday, March 8, 2026, at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Needham.
Born in Norwood on February 6, 1940, he was the son of the late Ernie and Irma (Dearborn) Richardson.
Kevin was a resident of Millis for most of his life. He grew up in Medway and proudly served in the Marine Corp.
Kevin owned an excavating and contracting business for many years.
He was a member of the Franklin Elks, and the Millis VFW and American Legion Post. Kevin loved the outdoors, spending time at the beach, and was an avid New England sports fan, especially football.
He is survived by his step-daughter Bobbie Isom of Glendale, Arizona and was the brother of the late Elaine Kelter.
At the request of his family, graveside services will take place privately at Evergreen Cemetery in Medway in the family plot.
