
Richard Queen, 74, of Oxnard, passed away on March 18, 2026.
Richard Emanuel Queen was a man of understated strength, facing life’s challenges with quiet
resilience and determination. He possessed a natural charm that drew people to him, highlighted
by his humor and easy smile, making everyone he met feel welcomed and valued. As a father,
husband and friend, Richard was known for his steady, supportive presence offering calm
guidance, consistent encouragement, and reliable strength when it was needed most. He touched
countless lives through his gentle wisdom and unwavering loyalty.
Richard is survived by his loving wife, Sandra Louise Queen; his daughter Cissy-Daehn (Billy);
his sons, Jason Queen (Crystal), Jeret Queen (Kathie), and Nathan Myers; his sister, Susan
Whaley (Dean); his brothers Larry and Jack Queen; and Jennifer Masterson who held a special
place in his heart as family; and his cherished grandchildren Damien Masterson, Jerret Queen,
Elizabeth Queen, Jackson Queen, James Queen, Keaton Moorman (Jordan), Braxton Moorman,
Cody Queen, Haylee Martin, Jayson Queen (Emma) and Frankie June Myers. He is also survived
by 5 great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Jack and Betty Queen, brothers Everett and Michael,
son Robbie and his faithful dog Bear who was never far from his side.
Family and friends are invited to attend Funeral services to be held on May 2nd at 1:00 PM
at the Boyko & Reardon Telegraph Road Mortuary Cremation Located at 15 Teloma Dr Ventura,
CA 93003. All who knew and loved Richard are warmly invited to a reception immediately
following the service at the same location.
