
Paul D. Genest, 73, died March 17, 2026 at his home following a brief illness.
He was born in Manchester on July 23, 1952 the son of Fernand and Eloise (Provencher) Genest.
He was a graduate of St. Anselm College attended Middlebury College and received his Masters in French from the University of Paris.
He later joined the Peace Corps.
Prior to his retirement he taught languages at Manchester High School West as well as in the Bow School system for over 30 years.
He collected Pewter, was an antiques enthusiast, enjoyed cats, and playing Poker and going to Rockingham Race Track with his friends.
He leaves his cousin Suzie Morissette, three aunts and several cousins from Quebec Canada and close friends, particularly Craig Shaw and his wife Constance.
He was predeceased by his parents and his sister, Doris Genest.
A graveside committal service will take place on Tuesday, April 7, 2026 at 1 pm in St. Augustin Cemetery.
