Obituary

DUDLEY – Eugene T. “Gene” Gadbois, 84, formerly of Oxford Ave., died Wednesday, September 13, in Sunbridge Rehab and Nursing Center for Sandalwood, Oxford.

He leaves two brothers, Maurice N. Gadbois of Miramar, FL and Robert L. Gadbois of Salinas, California; one nephew, four nieces and several cousins.

He was born in Webster, the son of Eugene T. Gadbois, Sr. and Elizabeth (Druzbicki) Gadbois. He lived in Webster and Dudley all his life. He graduated from Bartlett High School and the Worcester Art Museum School of Art.

He was an Army veteran of World War II.

Mr. Gadbois was a commercial artist and a teacher of art for many students in the area. He also worked at Cranston Print Works Company in Webster for several years. He enjoyed traveling.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, Sept. 16, at 10:00 AM in Saint Joseph Garden of Peace, Webster. There are no calling hours. Donations may be made to a charity of choice. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Scanlon Funeral Service, 38 East Main St., Webster.
