Shannon Lara McNulty, of Boston, formerly of North Adams, Massachusetts. passed away on March 24, 2026, at the age of 53 years old. Mother of Amber Foster Lopes and her husband Anderson Lopes. Michelle Gilchrist, Michael Gilchrist, Justyn Garcia and Alexander Waiter. Daughter of James McNulty and Robin Bowen. Long Time Partner Juan Garcia. Grandmother of Jerimyah Garcia, Zaria Foster Lopes, Skylah Foster Lopes and Jia Lopes. Shannon was a genuine, kind, and loving soul. She exuded love every chance that she got, always reminding us that she loves us and that we could always call her. Shannon loved working at Whole Foods and getting to enjoy the team. She loved Franklin Park Zoo and taking strolls through the Zoo in the summer months. She loved the beach and going for a swim. She enjoyed spending quality time with Family sitting at the kitchen table sipping on a cup or two of Café Bustello coffee. Thanksgiving was one of her Favorite holiday’s, she loved to cook the family thanksgiving meal every year. She loved bringing us together, just for the sake of being together. She enjoyed taking us to see the 4th of July fireworks over the Charles River every year. She would long for the days when her grandchildren would come to visit her so that she could spoil them with love. And if we didn’t bring them she would lovingly ask “where are my grandbabies” She anticipated every year spending her Anniversary weekend with Juan, not going far spending quality time. Overall, Shannon Lived her life for her Family making sure that we never lacked in loved. Making sure that we were always good, no matter what. From day One Shannon loved us, and we will always love her and keep her in our hearts.
