Worcester – Julie Bezerra Fernandes, 13 months old, passed away on Saturday, March 21, 2026 in the UMass Memorial Medical Center – (PICU).
Julie was born on February 14, 2025 on Valentine’s Day at Tufts Medical Center - Boston daughter of her loving parents Ingrid Bezerra Barros and Celso Fernandes da Silva.
This is how God determined it, we will never understand why you only had 13 months of your existence in our lives. You passed away so soon, so prematurely.
Only time will help us understand the purpose of all this. You were resilient in every stage you had to face. For us, little daughter, you are and always will be synonymous with BRAVERY, our daily fuel here on earth, and we will continue here for you, certain that one day we will meet again.
Stay there, beautiful baby, in God's arms.
He gifted us with your life, and He took you back to heaven, little angel, so all we can do is accept it. The pain is immense, it is heartbreaking, but God's comfort is our refuge. Julie (Juju), Mommy and Daddy have unconditional love for you... Go in peace, blessed little princess, you will always be the Lord's miracle in our lives.
Go Julie up in heaven, watch over us.
