
Mr. Gerard Nadeau, 89, of Methuen, passed away on Sunday, March 22, 2026 at the Lawrence General Hospital. Born on July 16, 1936 in St. Pierre Baptiste, Canada, he moved to the Merrimack Valley in 1962 and has been an area resident ever since. He was retired from Salem Glass Company after 32 years as a glazer. Gerard was a member of the board of directors for the Social Naturalization Club (The French Social) and was a member of the BPOE Elks Lodge 65 in Lawrence. He loved to spend time with his family. Gerard is the widower of Laureanne (Turgeon) Nadeau and is survived by two daughters: Linda and her husband Edward Goodwin of Salem, NH, Doris and her husband Sylvain Lebel of Hodgdon, ME, five sons: Sylvain Nadeau and his wife Barbara of Cornish Flat, NH, Bertrand Nadeau and his wife Kathy of Salem, NH, Donald Nadeau and his partner Laurie Lach of Dracut, Robert Nadeau of Lawrence, and Steve Nadeau and his wife Kacey of Methuen. Two sisters: Laurette Pepin of Canada and Therese Lefave of Holyoke, MA. There are many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Saturday, March 28, 2026 from 9:00 am to 10:30 am at Edgar J. Racicot Inc. Funeral Home, 1400 Broadway Rd., Dracut. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 11:00 am at St. Theresa Church, 22 Plymouth St., Methuen. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery.
