Constance H. Sutherland 78 of West Sky Hawk Dr. formerly of Woonsocket, died September 4, after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Dr. Rodrigue Sutherland. Mrs. Sutherland was born in Woonsocket a daughter of the late Arthur and Helen (Harpin) Bazinet. She was a 1949 Graduate of the Roger Williams School of Nursing and had worked at Woonsocket Hospital and Edgewater Hospital in Chicago.
Mrs. Sutherland is survived by three sons Phil Sutherland of Plymouth, MN, Gregory Sutherland of Wrentham, MA, and James Sutherland of Woonsocket, a daughter Carol Sutherland Barrett of Centreville, VA, and five grandchildren. She was the sister of Robert Bazinet of West Palm Beach, FL, Shirley Comtois of N. Smithfield, and Susan Kryszak of Lanham, MD.
Her funeral will be held Saturday at 9:30 from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St. with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 in St. Joseph’s Church Mendon Rd. Woonsocket. Burial will be held in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery in Bellingham. Visiting hours are Friday 5-8 pm.
