Jerry Randall “Randy” Hancock, 61, of Adel, Georgia, passed away, Sunday, March 22, 2026, at his residence.
Graveside services will be held 11 AM, Thursday, March 26, 2026, at Bethlehem Cemetery in Irwin County, Georgia, with the Rev. James Griffin officiating.
Mr. Hancock was born December 19, 1964, in Ocilla, Georgia, to the late Jerry Newton Hancock and the late Patricia Ann Armstrong. He was a graduate of Irwin County High School and retired from Barfield Gas Company in Adel, Georgia, after 30 years as a gas truck driver. Mr. Hancock enjoyed spending time with his family, grilling, spending time on the beach, riding motorcycles and riding the buggy with his late wife, Darlene. He especially loved the title of “Papa” and all things about being a Papa to his grandson. Mr. Hancock loved his dogs and watching any kinds of sports, especially the Georgia Bulldogs. He was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his sons: Mathew Tyce Hancock of Adel and Brandon & Brittany Harper of Adel and his beloved grandson, Grayson Harper. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Darlene Coley Hancock.
