Linda M. St. Angelo, R.N. 75, Smithfield, died Sunday, March 22, 2026 at Steere House in Providence. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Emily (Santoro) Santangelo.
Born in Providence, she had lived in Johnston and Smithfield.
Linda graduated from URI, College of Nursing; earning a BS in Nursing and a Master’s Degree in Nursing Education. During her 43-year career Linda was employed at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro, MA, and Rhode Island Hospital in Providence.
She is survived by her brother, Joseph D Santangelo and his wife, Carolin of Galveston, Texas, and Cape Coral, Florida, as well as dear friends, and beloved cousins.
Her funeral service will be held Thursday at 11am in the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Rt 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Visitation will be Thursday morning, 9am to 11am. Burial will be private.
