Peter Robert Petruzziello, Sr., age 86, of Bradenton, FL, formerly of Medford, passed away on Thursday, March 12th. Raised and educated in Medford, he was the son of the late Anthony and Rita (Matarazzo) Petruzziello. Peter worked for many years as a machinist in the electronics industry. He was a member of the Winter Hill Yacht Club of Somerville, Malden Elks Lodge #965, and Malden Moose Lodge #1910. He has lived in Florida for the past 30 years.
Peter was the beloved husband of the late Mary (Caprio) Petruzziello, and the devoted father of Michelle Petruzziello, and Peter Jr. and Soumaly Petruzziello. He was the loving grandfather of Thomas Doherty and Meghan Petruzziello, and dear brother of the late John, Michael and Anthony Petruzziello. Peter is survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Thursday, March 26th from 4 to 7 PM, and again on Friday, March 27th at 9 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner St., Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
