Obituary

Christina E. (Safiol) Pastore of Weston, passed away after a long illness on March 20, 2026. Born on September 4, 1969 in Memphis TN, to George E. Safiol and the late Demetra K. Safiol, she was the younger sister of Olympia (Safiol) Twomey and Peter G. Safiol. Christina spent most of her childhood years in Weston. She was a graduate of Worcester Academy, before attending and graduating from Northeastern University with a Marketing degree. Her professional career spanned multiple sales roles, most recently at Paychex Corporation.

Christina married Eric Pastore of Burlington, MA in 1995 and they remained together until 2017. They lived in North Reading, MA, and had 3 children. Her proudest role in life was as devoted mother of Nicco, Mia and Vincent, all of North Reading. She enjoyed attending her children's activities, which included dance, hockey, lacrosse, and baseball. She also served as a proud Aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Christina was fun-loving, thoughtful, and perhaps will be remembered most for her endless energy, and willingness to always participate in new challenges and adventures. These included Spartan races, the Boston Marathon, fitness competitions, and running a small salad business. Additional passions included cooking and decorating. Christina's zest for life was never more strongly demonstrated than through her courageous battle with cancer, to which she eventually succumbed. Christina was beloved by her family, and her passing is a tremendous loss for all.
