Marilyn C. LaPuma (Fasano) of Medford passed away on March 19, 2026. She was 89 years old. Marilyn was the beloved wife of the late Benjamin J. LaPuma for 54 years. Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Rose (DeSimone) Fasano.
Prior to her retirement, Marilyn was employed at the New England Mutual Life Insurance Company as an Assistant to the Director.
Marilyn was the devoted mother of Deborah LaPuma-Khaksari of Weston. She was the adored grandmother of Bijan Khaksari of New York City, NY, and Jéan Khaksari of Weston. Marilyn was the dear sister of Annette Fasano Oteri and her husband Frank of Medford and the late Nicolas Fasano.
A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, March 27, in St. Joseph Church, 118 High Street, Medford, MA at 11AM. Please go directly to church. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Memorials Processing, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
Services will conclude with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery-Medford, followed by a luncheon.
