Joan M. Collette, 86

Joan M. (Larivee) Collette, age 86, of Attleboro, passed away on Friday, March 20, 2026 at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. She was the beloved wife of the late Adolphe J. “Al” Collette, Jr. and the late Norman E. St Germain.
Born in Central Falls, Rhode Island on November 11, 1939, she was a loving daughter of the late Raymond Larivee and the late Doris N. (Bouchard) Touzin.
Joan grew up in Seekonk and was a 1957 graduate of Sacred Heart High School. Prior to retiring, she was employed as a Laboratory Technician at Metalor Technologies in North Attleboro.
A resident of Attleboro since 1965, Joan was a communicant of Saint Mary’s Church in Norton. She loved spending time with her former husbands and her hobbies in included gardening, farming at her home in Attleboro and a special place for the animals that adorned her house throughout the years.
She was the dear sister of Robert Larivee and his wife Janice of Connecticut, Raymond Larivee and his Linda of Oregon, Claudette Brillo and her husband Daniel of Wells, Maine and Claudette’s late husband Ralph Maston. She is also survived by her loving nieces and nephews and all the members of the Collette family.
Her Funeral Mass, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be celebrated on Friday, March 27th at 11:00 A.M. in Saint Mary’s Church, 1 Power Street, Norton. Burial will follow at Saint Stephen’s Cemetery in Attleboro.
Visiting hours are omitted and in lieu of flowers, donations in Joan’s memory may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children, 51 Blossom Street, Boston, MA 02114.
