Yvonne M. (Francoeur) Giguere, 88, of Westport, passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2026 at the Catholic Memorial Home. She was the wife of the late Damase A. “Jiggs” Giguere. They shared 66 years of marriage.
Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Marie A. (Lebresque) Francoeur and had resided in Westport since 1963.
Prior to her retirement in 2005, Mrs. Giguere worked for many years at Chase Curtain. She was also the owner of Yvonne’s Window Magic and served as office manager for her late husband’s business, New England Sanitation. Following retirement, she enjoyed working in her yard, doing crafts, traveling and going out with friends.
She is survived by her two children: Damase A. Giguere, Jr. and his wife Elizabeth of Middletown, and Donna A. Giguere and her lifelong companion, Christopher Graham, of Westport; along with many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held Sunday, March 22, from 2–5 P.M. at the Potter Funeral Home, Westport.
Her funeral service will be held Monday, March 23 at 10:00 A.M. at the Potter Funeral Home, Westport. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Interment will follow in Beech Grove Cemetery, Westport.
