Obituary

Laura Martin (Ragonese) Proietti, 73 passed peacefully after a courageous battle of Alzimers. Laura left a legacy of deeply devoted love for her family and friends and a devout life of serving her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Laura was a strong defender of her faith and a true soldier for Christ. Laura loved doing God's work alongside her husband David, attending Bible College, DYS prison ministry for 10 years as well as a Homeless ministry for 10 years and having a home church for many years. Laura also absolutely loved Paul McCartney and the Beatles and Neil Young a close 2nd. Laura in her life was truly the Salt of the earth, always sharing love,compassion, hope, joy and words of encouragement to everyone she met. Laura's deep love of her family and friends was evident to anyone who knew Laura. Laura spent most of her life in the restaurant business and 12 years at the USPS. Laura had an immense love for horses and riding for a big part of her life since childhood, not to mention her love for gardening, bird watching, fishing and many other outdoor activities. Laura was born on February 18th, 1953 in Newton, Ma and was the daughter of Angelo and Martha Ragonese of Hopedale,Ma. Laura was a devoted wife of 23 years and step mother to Ashley Proietti Belsito and her Grandaughter Alexandra, siblings Marcia Falzone, Peter Ragonese and wife Laura, Michael and Suzanne Ragonese and Tommy and Karen Ragonese along with many nieces and nephews. Laura will always be remembered as that Light on the hill as Laura exemplified a life of selfless love and was always drawn to the less fortunate, that's truly what defined Laura. She was a very special light for all on this earth and will be dearly missed.
