Obituary

Auburn – Julie M. Daigle, 73, of Auburn and formerly of Shrewsbury, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 11, 2026 in the Christopher House of Worcester.

Julie was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Paul J. and Jeanne M. (Letourneau) Daigle and is also predeceased by a brother John P. Daigle.

She graduated from Holy Name Central Catholic High School and worked for many years with the former ComGas Company as a site coordinator. Julie enjoyed to knit, take trips to the beach, especially Wells, ME and always looked forward to traveling with her friends and her sister.

Julie is survived by a daughter, Jennifer Dahl of Sutton; a sister, Virginia Hakala and her husband, Harry of Worcester; a grandson, Milo Dahl and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are being held privately. Memorial contributions in memory of Julie may be made to breast cancer research by donating to Susan G. Komen 13770 Noel Road, Suite 801889, Dallas, TX 75380.
