Pasquale A. "Pat" Ricciardelli - of Tewksbury, formerly of Medford, March 10, 2026. He was 84. Pat was raised and educated in Medford, Massachusetts. He earned his engineering degree from Northeastern University and proudly served in the Massachusetts Army National Guard. He went on to a long and distinguished career as an engineer at Raytheon, from which he retired approximately twenty years ago.
Pat's life was defined by devotion to family. In the Southern Italian tradition of the Mezzogiorno - the world his parents came from - he was il figlio di casa, the child of the house: the one who stays, who devotes his life to caring for his parents and family, a quiet vocation of sacrifice that the family deeply recognized and respected.
After his parents' passing, Pat remained the connective tissue of the extended Ricciardelli family. Whether taking his nieces and nephews to Red Sox games at Fenway Park when they were children, or attending their children's holidays, birthdays, and graduations years later, Pat was a faithful presence and positive influence across three generations. He was there for every wedding, baptism, funeral, Christmas, and Easter, and stepped in to help organize services for each of his siblings who predeceased him. He was the uncle who could always be counted on to show up when the family needed him.
Pat was the devoted brother of Angela Ciulla of Stoneham, and the late Linda Nunes, the late Marino Ricciardelli, and the late Yvette Scimone. He is also survived by his brothers-in-law John Nunes of Concord and Charles G. Scimone of Massachusetts, and his many loving nieces and nephews, including Brenda Nunes Dostie and her husband Andre, Mark Nunes and his wife Marti, Mario Ricciardelli and his wife Nancy, Sarah Ricciardelli and her husband Alexander Shapoval, Thomas Ciulla and his wife Sheryl, Deborah Hamilton and her husband Brian, Ronald Ciulla and his wife Kerry, Steven Ciulla and his wife Mary, and Lucille Flynn and her husband Michael, as well as many grand-nieces and grand-nephews, and a dear friend, Carol Driscoll.
He was predeceased by his parents Artemio and Serafina Ricciardelli, his sister Linda Nunes, his brother Marino Ricciardelli, his sister Yvette Scimone, his brother-in-law Thomas Ciulla, and his nephews John A. Nunes and Charles A. Scimone.
