Obituary

Ronald “Ron” Lawrence Magadieu passed away suddenly on Sunday, March 8, 2026, at the age of 51. Born in Boston on August 1, 1974, he lived and spent his childhood in Mansfield MA.

Ron attended Mansfield Public Schools and graduated from MHS in 1992. He later lived in Norwood before settling in Wrentham, where he raised his family. Ron was a talented carpenter and home remodeler, and was meticulous in everything he did. He would always say “if you’re on time, you’re late.” Ron was just really good at what he did and truly took pride in his craft.

Ron was most proud of his two children, Liliana and Edward Magadieu, whom he leaves behind. Lily and Eddie have fond memories of sharing Ron’s love of the outdoors, from hiking trails to kayaking on the lake. New Hampshire was always his favorite place. He could often be found sitting in his outdoor chair, at the end of a long day. It’s how he decompressed…that and listening to his favorite music as loud as he could while driving around.

In addition to his cherished children, Ron also leaves behind his mother, Jean Demers Magadieu of Plainville, MA & her partner Dan Mullane, his father, Ronald L Magadieu of Castlewood, VA & his wife Naomi, his brother, Jonathan D Magadieu of California, his late brother Steven P. Lynch’s wife Elizabeth and his nieces Haley & Rachael Lynch of Dennis, MA, his niece Caitlin Magadieu of Waltham, MA, his uncle Roy Cottuli of Plainville, MA & his daughter Hannah of Attleboro, MA, his niece Jessyca Dowdy of Norton, MA and his sister, Lyn Cicchetto of Kingsport, Tennessee.

Ron is predeceased by his beloved brother Steven P. Lynch of Dennis, MA, and grandparents, Leroy E Cottuli & Mary Park Cottuli of Foxboro.

He also leaves behind his dear and lifelong friends, Richie Golden of Mansfield and James Sheehan of North Attleboro, as well as the mother of his beloved children, Christine Connors of Wrentham.

There will be a celebration of life for Ron on Sunday March 22, at 3:00 PM, at the American Legion in Plainville, MA. Please join us as we share fond memories of the Ron we all cared about and knew.
