HAUGH, Gregory passed away March 5, 2026. He was a resident of Mashpee and Englewood, Florida; formerly of Brighton and West Roxbury. Son of the late Francis J. and Ruth (Malone); loving husband of Kathleen (Brady); devoted father of Francis J. of Boston, Gregory P. of Rancho Cordova, CA and Caitlin B. of Boston; proud Papa of Henry and Georgia of CA. Also survived by brothers Michael (Barbara) of FL, Joseph (Helen) of West Roxbury and Rosemary Jackson of NH as well as several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by brothers Francis and Kevin.
He was a former Deputy Superintendent at Suffolk County Sheriff’s Department and former director of security for numerous performing arts theatres in Boston.
As a proud West Roxbury resident for over fifty years, Greg made lifelong friends whom he cherished. He enjoyed watching all Boston sports, the beach, a plethora of music genres, a friendly political debate, a good meal (& maybe a drink) shared with friends and family.
Greg was a graduate of Catholic Memorial High School (1970) and Boston State College.
The Haugh family extends their gratitude to the Sarasota Memorial Hospital staff for their compassionate care for Greg in his last days.
Greg was a lively presence in all atmospheres and is already sorely missed.
Visiting Hours at the William J. Gormley Funeral Home, 2055 Centre St. West Roxbury on Sunday, March 15th from 4-7pm. Funeral from the funeral home on Monday, March 16th at 10am followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Theresa Church at 11am.
