It is with a sense of great loss, and also with a jubilant unrestrained spirit of joy, that we remember Theresa G. Wright, born on the 25th of September 1937, mother Geraldine May and father, Frank Procello, (Barlow).
She attended Fremont high school in Los Angeles, then went to a local community college. She worked as a librarian at Cal State University and eventually became a bookkeeper.
She was married to Bernard Bruce in 1955 and remarried William Arthur Wright in 1965. She went back to school at the Boston Conservatory of Music. She was a lifelong opera enthusiast and performed as a soloist with the Boston Symphony Orchestra in 1978.
She has been an involved member of the West Medford community, as well as a member of the Muskogee Creek Nation.
Her ebullient personality and ever undaunted attitude, allowed her to maintain a very stable household, even during difficult times.
She is survived by her loving and admiring children: Marcus Bruce Derrick Bruce David Wright, Keith Wright and her grandchildren: Michael Bruce and Anthony Bruce; as well as her great-grandchildren: Malena Bruce and Raelynn Bruce.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Beals-Geake-Magliozzi Funeral Home of Medford. For additional information, please visit, www.magliozzifuneralhome.com.
She will be very inconsolably missed.
