Florence A. Goryl, 94, of North Smithfield passed away peacefully on Monday March 2nd at Hospice St. Antoine Residence, in North Smithfield.
Florence was born in Woonsocket, a daughter of the late Leo and Lillian Blanchette. She worked as a branch manager for RI State Employees Credit Union in Pascoag RI for many years before retiring.
She is survived by her son, Stanley J Goryl Jr and his wife Ann M Goryl of North Smithfield as well as two grand daughters: Stephanie Berghammer of North Smithfield and Kathryn Gormally and her husband Daniel Gormally of Boxford MA, as well as 6 great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Theresa Senecal and the late Jeannette Barroso.
Although Florence had many medical challenges in her life, she always enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
She adored her grand children and her winter trips to Florida. She loved playing cards and games with friends.
