
Loraine (McCaffrey) Pedulla, a longtime resident of Woburn, MA, died March 1, 2026 at Winchester Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Winchester, MA. After many months of advancing decline, she passed away peacefully surrounded by family. She was 93 years old.
Loraine was born April 8, 1932, in Revere, MA, where she graduated from Revere High School. In 1956, she married Frank Pedulla of Somerville, MA, and settled in Medford, before moving to Woburn in 1965. For the next 43 years, she and Frank raised their three children through the Woburn Public School system and their college educations.
While raising her children, she was employed in a variety of positions during her lifetime, as stockroom supervisor for the tech company MACOM, and later for the SBLI insurance company just prior to her retirement.
In her retirement, she and Frank lived at the Quail Run Condominiums, a community which they dearly enjoyed. She took great pride in her family, and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, as well as cooking and traveling. After Frank`s passing in 2008, she lived at the Seven Springs Condominiums, where she made many new friends and served on their Social Committee.
Her beloved husband Frank and cherished daughter Christine (Laska) predeceased her in life. She is survived by her son, Dr. Jim Pedulla and daughter in law Mary Jo of Burlington, MA, her daughter, Denise of Lexington, MA and her son in law Philip Laska of Billerica MA. She leaves four dear grandchildren Amy Pedulla, her husband Ned Porter, and Lauren Pedulla of New York City, and Kevin Laska and Kerry Laska of Billerica, MA. She also is survived by many nieces and nephews who she loved dearly, and with whom she and Frank enjoyed many happy family gatherings.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours at the McLaughlin-Dello Russo Family Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St., Woburn, Friday, March 6th, from 4 to 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 7th, at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass celebrated at St. Barbara Church, 138 Cambridge Rd., Woburn, at 10 a.m. Services will conclude with interment at Woodbrook Cemetery, Woburn. It has been requested that in lieu of flowers, contributions in Loraine`s name may be made to the Winchester Nursing Care Center, 223 Swanton St., Winchester, MA 01890 (c/o Resident Council).
