Peter Dennis Nicholas, age 59, passed away on Saturday, February 28th, at Boston Medical Center. A longtime Somerville resident, he was the son of the late Peter and Doris (Hathaway) Nicholas. Peter worked for over 30 years as a technician at RCN cable. He was a huge Redsox fan, and enjoyed collecting sports memorabilia and toys.
Peter was the husband of Jill (Shannon) Nicholas, and the father of Brian and Matthew Nicholas. He was the brother of Barbara Maxon, Gale Bracken and her late husband James, Dale Bane and her husband Jimmy, Linda Lynch and her husband Fred, Gloria LaBreck and her husband Alfred, and the late Joanne Nicholas. Peter is survived by his mother- and father-in-law, Doris and James Shannon, and many loving nieces, nephews and other family members.
Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, March 11th from 9 to 11 AM in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, MA. Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Burial will be private.
