Herbert G. Landry Jr. 52, of Woonsocket, Rhode Island died Sunday Sept. 10, 2006 at Landmark Medical Center, following a long illness. He was the husband of Martha E. (Milligan) Foley-Landry.
Born in Milford, April 24, 1954 a son of Herbert G. Landry Sr. of Franklin and the late Stephannie R. (Tucci) Landry, he lived in Franklin for most of his life before moving to Woonsocket in 1999.
He was educated in Franklin public schools, and had been employed as a cement finisher for the Tom Annis Co. of Wrentham. He also worked for several other area contractors.
He especially enjoyed his off time with family and his grandchildren.
Surviving in addition to his wife and father include 2 sons Mark E. Landry of Conn., Steven J. Landry of Uxbridge, a daughter Laurie Jean Landry of Franklin, 2 stepsons Cpl. Donald E. Foley of W. Roxbury Derek D. Foley of Woonsocket, a stepdaughter Samantha R. Foley of Uxbridge, 1 brother James Landry of Woonsocket, 2 sisters Joanne Long of Webster and Christine Hughes of Natick, and six grandchildren.
He was the brother of the late Richard Landry and Cecilia Bambrick.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service on Thursday Sept. 15, 2006 at 10AM in the Charles F. Oteri and Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Franklin.
Calling hours are Wednesday Sept. 14, 2006 from 5-8PM at the funeral home.
