Randy C. Carvalho, 52, of Westport, peacefully passed away at home on Friday, February 20, 2026 following an automobile accident at the age of 15 and a recent battle with cancer. He was the son of Antone C. Carvalho, Jr. and his wife Catherine Gibson-Carvalho of Westport and Linda Bourgeois and her late husband Raymond of Westport.
Randy was born in Fall River and had been a lifelong resident of Westport. In his younger years, he served as an altar boy at St. John the Baptist Church, Westport. He enjoyed fishing, being outdoors and was an avid hunter.
Survivors along with his parents include his step-brother: Philip Gibson of Westport; his step-sister: Heidi Gibson Lecomte and her husband Shawn of Westport; 2 nephews: Aiden Carvalho and his brother Owen; step-nephews: Griffin and Conor Lecomte; step-niece: Mason Catherine Gibson; along with many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was the brother of the late Antone C. "T.J." Carvalho III.
The Family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Beacon Hospice, LifeStream, Inc., LifeStream, Inc. Daycare in Acushnet and to all the ladies at his LifeStream residence on Blossom Road for the impeccable care and friendship they gave to Randy over the years.
Mass of Christian Burial to which relatives and friends are invited will be Thursday, February 26, 2026 at St. John the Baptist Church, Westport at 11:00 A.M.
Interment to follow in Beech Grove Cemetery, Westport.
