Obituary

Regina Ann (Walsh) Arnold entered into eternal rest on January 25, 2026. Born in Boston to Peter and Mary (Laracy) Walsh, she was the cherished wife of James T Arnold “Tom”(deceased) of Braintree. Regina was pre-deceased by brothers Francis, James and Edward . She was the sister of Gerald (Sandy) Walsh of Yarmouth.

Regina is survived by her two children, Ann (Arnold) Burns and James T Arnold Jr (Ann) of Braintree. She was also the devoted “Grammy” to Matthew(Amber) Burns and Amy Burns.

Regina was an administrative assistant at an advertising agency for over 25 years. She excelled at her job and was highly respected by the New England Chrysler Plymouth Dealers Association. This job gave her and Tom the opportunity to travel.

A devout Catholic, Regina studied theology and was a CCD teacher for many years. She loved day trips and spent many happy years at Peter’s Pond Park in Sandwich. She had many close friends who she hosted over the years and she loved entertaining. In her later years she took day trips with Tom to the casinos and various restaurants. An avid tea drinker, Regina loved tea houses and would go there with Ann. Jim was always visiting, never forgetting her tea from Dunkins. Her last years were comfortable, always cozy and warm with her constant companion “the kitten”, Amy’s cat Ash.

Loved by everyone who knew her, she was be greatly missed.

A funeral mass will be held for Regina on Wednesday February 25 at 10 am at St Francis of Assisi Church 856 Washington St Braintree. She will be buried with her beloved Tom Thursday at 11:30 am at the Bourne National Cemetery.
