Pauline D. (Pearson) Simone, age 66, of Taunton, formerly of Providence, passed away on Tuesday, February 17, 2026 at the Morton Hospital in Taunton. She was the beloved wife of Joseph R. Simone, Sr.
Born in Providence, Rhode island on January 6, 1960, she was a loving daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (Cerreto) Pearson.
Pauline grew up in the city of Providence and was educated in Providence schools. She had worked in the jewelry industry at Fashion Accents and had made her home in Taunton since 2013.
Pauline’s favorite times were those spent with her precious grandchildren and enjoyed taking trips with her husband and spending time at area casinos. Her family is so saddened by her passing, but the memories she left behind will remain in their hearts forever.
She is survived by her husband and was the devoted mother of the late Joseph R. Simone, Jr. She was the cherished and proud grandmother of triplets, Ava, Rocco and Aria. She was the dear sister of Richard Pearson of Warwick, Rhode Island, Joseph Pearson of North Providence, Rhode Island, Donald Pearson of Maine, Jean Kidd of Warwick and her late husband Wayne Kidd, the late Patricia Sullivan, the late Joanna Moore, the late Donna Meri and the late James Pearson. She is also survived by her many much-loved nieces and nephews.
Services and burial will be private and visiting hours are omitted.
