
Deborah L. Milton, age 65, of Brockton, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on February 15, 2026. She was the devoted wife of John S. "Jack" Milton for 46 years. They were married on September 15, 1979.
Born in Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Joan English of Brockton, and Robert English and his wife of East Bridgewater. Debbie was born and raised in Brockton.
She was a woman of great faith with strong Christian beliefs. Debbie has a deep passion for gardening, music, especially the blues and enjoyed traveling with her husband. She also took great pleasure in attending all of her granddaughters extracurricular activities.
Mrs. Milton had a deep love to help others in need. This was apparent throughout her career caring for those in nursing homes as well as adults with special needs. Most recently, she was employed by Brockton Public Schools as a food service worker at West Middle School. Debbie was a selfless woman who put the needs of others above her own.
Debbie was the affectionate and loving mother to John M. Milton, of Brockton, Sean Milton and his wife Jennifer of West Bridgewater, and Sarah Burke of East Bridgewater. She was also like a second mother to Chris Milton and Kristol Pelletier.
Debbie was an amazing grandmother to her eight granddaughters, Haley, Nicole, Emma, Olivia, Noel, Kenzie, Maddie, and the late Emily Mullen. She was predeceased by her great grandchildren Elliana and Elaya Mancortes-Milton as well as an aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Debbie also leaves behind her siblings. Her sister and best friend Donna English-Senter, Robert English Jr., and his wife Kim, and Michelle Darrah and her husband Jim.
It was Debbie's final wish to have her life celebrated. Please join us on Saturday, February 28th at the Keating Hall, 80 Perkins Avenue, Brockton from 1 -5 pm.
