Jesus Gonzalez, age 24, of Chicago, Illinois, passed away on February 15, 2026.
Jesus was the beloved son of Luis Gonzalez and the late Maria Gomez. He was a loving and devoted brother to Aylin (21), Luis Angel (17), and Ashley (10), who cherished him deeply. He was also a proud and loving uncle to his niece, Aliana (3), who brought light and joy to his life. Jesus graduated from high school and was working as a building engineer, a role he took pride in as he began building his future.
He will be remembered for his kind heart, his quiet strength, and the love he had for his family. Jesus shared a special bond with his siblings and found special happiness in being an uncle to little Aliana. Though his time with us was far too short, his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
Visitation will be held Thursday, February 26, 2026 at Ocwieja-Robles Funeral Home, 4256 S Mozart.
Additional parking is available at Five Holy Martyrs Church, 4327 S Richmond St.
Funeral Mass will be held Friday, February 27, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Nicholas of Tolentine Church, 6200 S Lawndale Ave.
Following Mass, we will proceed to Saint Casimir Cemetery, 4401 W 111th St.
Jesús González, de 24 años, residente de Chicago, Illinois, falleció el 15 de febrero de 2026.
Jesús fue el amado hijo de Luis González y de la difunta María Gómez. Fue un hermano cariñoso y dedicado para Aylin (21), Luis Angel (17) y Ashley (10), quienes lo querían profundamente. También fue un tío orgulloso y cariñoso de su sobrina, Alaina (3), quien trajo luz y alegría a su vida. Jesús se graduó de la escuela secundaria y trabajaba como ingeniero de mantenimiento de edificios, labor que desempeñaba con orgullo mientras comenzaba a construir su futuro.
Será recordado por su noble corazón, su fortaleza silenciosa y el gran amor que sentía por su familia. Jesús compartía un vínculo muy especial con sus hermanos y brindaba alegría a quienes lo rodeaban. Tío de la pequeña Aliana. Aunque su tiempo con nosotros fue demasiado corto, su memoria vivirá por siempre en los corazones de todos los que lo conocieron y lo amaron.
El velorio se llevará a cabo el jueves 26 de febrero de 2026 en Ocwieja-Robles Funeral Home, 4256 S Mozart.
Habrá estacionamiento adicional disponible en Five Holy Martyrs Church, 4327 S Richmond St.
La Misa de Funeral se celebrará el viernes 27 de febrero de 2026 a las 10:00 a.m. en St. Nicholas of Tolentine Church, 6200 S Lawndale Ave.
Al finalizar la Misa, se procederá al entierro en Saint Casimir Cemetery, 4401 W 111th St.
