Spencer – Ellen M. Lynde, 81, of Spencer passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 in Webster Manor after an illness.
Ellen was born in Marlborough, MA, daughter of the late Walter Lynde and Leone LaForte and is predeceased by her husband, David Tetreault; two sons, Vincent Torraco and Mike Torraco; a brother, Walter Lynde Jr. and a sister, Helen Soucy.
Ellen worked for many years in the elder care industry, spending much of her time as activities director at various local nursing homes in the Worcester area.
She is survived by a son, Joseph Torraco; a sister Carol Franco and many friends.
Funeral services are being held privately and are under the direction of Alfred Roy & Sons – Henry Funeral Service Memorial Chapel 33 Ward Street Worcester, MA. Ellen always looked forward to the time she spent at the Spencer Senior Center, and memorial contribution to help may be sent to Spencer Senior Center 68 Maple Street Spencer, MA 01562.
