Nicola Leone DeMagistris, died thrursday at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center, in Burlington. The husband of Sandra (Orlando) DeMagistris, he was sixty-seven years old.
Born and educated in Italy Nicola is the son of Luigia (Pascucci) DeMagistris of Medford and the late Salvatore DeMagistris.
He was a resident of Westford for the last seventeen years, formerly of Medford. Nicola owned and operated Leone´s Hair Design of Burlington for the last forty-six years.
Surviving in addition to his wife Sandra, are his daughter Luanne Schaffer and her husband Keith of Hopedale, two sons, Nicholas DeMagistris and his wife Marie, and Mark DeMagistris all of Westford.
Loving Grandfather of Nicholas, Erica, Keith and Robert;two sisters, Joanne DiNapoli of Somerville, Marie Spada of Medford, one brother Ralph DeMagistris of Nashua, NH.
His funeral will be held from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St. Medford, on Monday, September 9, at 10 a.m., followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High St. Medford at 11. Service will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
Visiting Hours at the Dello Russo Funeral Home on Sunday, 4 thru 8 p.m.
