William “Leonard” “Whoop” Lowmaster, Jr., 68, of Glen Campbell, PA passed away from thyroid cancer at his home on Tuesday, February 10, 2026.
The son of William Leonard “Len” Lowmaster and G. “Marlene” (Decker) Lowmaster, he was born on February 20, 1957 in Pittsburgh, PA.
Leonard was a graduate of Punxsutawney High School.
Prior to his retirement, Leonard had worked as an equipment operator for Hugill’s, as well as working as a truck driver for many years.
Leonard loved Harley Davidson motorcycles and enjoyed spending countless hours on the roads riding his motorcycles.
A social member of the Glen Campbell American Legion Post, he was also a member of the post’s Sons of the American Legion.
Leonard is survived by his mother, Marlene Lowmaster of Glen Campbell, PA; his two sons: Justin Lowmaster and wife Paula of Burnside, PA and Adam Lowmaster of Glen Campbell, PA and his two grandchildren: Owen Stauffer and Alana Pangallo.
The oldest of his siblings, Leonard is also survived by his two brothers, Chris A. Lowmaster and wife Connie of Glen Campbell, PA and Douglas H. Lowmaster and wife Lois of Newport News, VA; his sister, Leah M. “Button” Huey and husband Ken of Rossiter, PA; Leonard’s longtime companion, Rhea Pearce, with whom he shared a home and Rhea's daughter, Bethany Henry and husband Scott and their son, Eli.
Leonard was preceded in death by his father on October 27, 2006 and his daughter, Harley Lowmaster on March 31, 2016.
