Norma-Rose Sédine Termé-Smith, age 12, of Malden, MA, following a 7- year battle with Pineablastoma, a rare brain cancer, passed away peacefully on February 3, 2026 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Boston, MA, on May 18, 2013, Norma-Rose left behind a legacy of love and deep connections. After Norma-Rose was diagnosed with cancer in 2019, she rarely lost her spirit. Even when confined to a hospital bed for extended periods, she excitedly watched her favorite movies and t.v. shows and talked about them with mom and the medical team. If you were lucky she may have even invited you for a drink at the bar, shirley temple anyone?

Norma-Rose brought cheerful energetic joy and laughter to everyone she met. A vibrant student at Beebe School, she was known for her rambunctious storytelling, her passion for anything Stitch, games, fashion and makeup, rainbow and bright colors, and her kind heart. Whether she was declaring championship over a game of UNO before the match even started or simply brightening a room with her smile, she made an unforgettable impact.

Known for her compassionate, charismatic, intelligent, and witty spirit, Norma-Rose was a bright light to her friends and family. To know Norma-Rose, was to know that fantasy could be reality. Her time was heartbreakingly short, but she was larger than life, leaving an indelible mark on all who knew her.
